How to plan around doubles and blanks
The managers who gain the most rank from double gameweeks start planning two to three weeks early: banking free transfers, drafting in doubling players at the right price, and holding chips for the biggest weeks. Conversely, sleepwalking into a blank gameweek with eight players missing is one of the most common ways to lose a mini-league.
