1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using WassupFPL ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WassupFPL is a reminder and notification service for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers. We provide:

• Gameweek deadline reminders via WhatsApp
• Fixture alerts and match notifications
• Player injury and status updates
• AI-powered captain suggestions
• FPL team information and statistics

WassupFPL is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the official Fantasy Premier League, the Premier League, or any associated entities.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Google authentication through our authentication provider (Clerk). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans provide basic functionality, while paid plans (Pro, Lifetime) offer additional features as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.

4.3 Seasonal Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are valid for the current FPL season (typically August to May). Subscriptions may auto-renew at the start of the next season unless cancelled.

4.4 Lifetime Plans

Lifetime plans provide access for as long as the Service operates. Lifetime seats are limited and subject to availability.

4.5 Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our Service, refunds are generally not provided once a subscription has been activated. If you believe you are entitled to a refund due to technical issues or service failures, please contact us at wassupfpl@gmail.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Share account credentials or access with multiple users
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without authorization
• Send spam or unsolicited messages through the Service

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 FPL Data

We access data from the Fantasy Premier League API, which is provided by the Premier League. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of this third-party data.

6.2 WhatsApp

We use WhatsApp (via Twilio or Wasender) to deliver notifications. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's own terms of service. We are not responsible for WhatsApp's service availability or policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users or third parties) are and will remain the exclusive property of WassupFPL. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

"Fantasy Premier League," "Premier League," and associated trademarks are the property of their respective owners. WassupFPL is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these entities.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

8.2 FPL Outcomes

We make no guarantees about FPL outcomes. Captain suggestions, player recommendations, and other advice are provided for informational purposes only. Your FPL decisions and results are your own responsibility.

8.3 Message Delivery

While we strive to deliver messages reliably, we cannot guarantee delivery of all WhatsApp messages due to factors outside our control (network issues, WhatsApp service disruptions, etc.).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WassupFPL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service
• Errors or omissions in any content
• Your FPL team performance or decisions based on our Service

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
